Grocery Supervisor

Beausejour Co-op is hiring a Full-time Grocery Supervisor at our Beausejour Food Store location!

What you’ll do:

Reporting to the Grocery Manager, the Grocery Supervisor is responsible for delivering world-class customer service; providing leadership to all grocery clerks; ordering and stocking grocery merchandise; merchandising and displaying packaged product; receiving and unloading trucks; maintaining department cleanliness, housekeeping standards, and a focus on safety.

You will:

• Provide prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable service to customers and members.
• Live the brand, making our staff and customers feel at home.
• Assist with recruitment, train, supervise staff, and demonstrate leadership in the grocery department.
• Ensure the department is properly stocked with merchandise and faced at all times.
• Provide front-end assistance as required.
• Accept Grocery Manager duties in his or her absence.
• Perform some administrative duties such as ordering, receiving, and inventory control.
• Other duties as required.

Full-time Grocery Supervisor must be available days, evenings, and weekends.
