Beausejour Co-op is hiring a Full-time Bakery Manager at our Oakbank Food Store location!
What you’ll do:
- Provide exceptional leadership to the Bakery department through coaching and development, and building strong relationships with team members.
- Champion Beausejour Co-op’s talent management practices and strategic plan.
- Maintain excellent customer service by tracking, monitoring, and following up with customer concerns.
- Perform operational duties such as administering and being responsible for the sales, margins, expenses, and staffing of the department.
- Perform all ordering, inventory control, and monthly inventory counts as required, ensure invoicing, claims, and all other paperwork are done timely and accurately.
- Receive and inspect store orders upon delivery to ensure all products are immediately stored in a proper temperature-controlled environment.
- Bake in-store-made products and decorate cakes, ensuring consistency in ingredients used and preparation method at all times.
- Ensure the bakery department is appropriately merchandised, including tagging and pricing accuracy, and ensure proper preparation of promotions and displays is completed.
Who you are:

- You have previous experience (3-5 years) in a retail environment with supervisory responsibilities
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
- You’re honest and trustworthy, are result-oriented, and strive to be the best in what you do.
