Beausejour Co-op is hiring a Petroleum Manager at our Bulk Petroleum Office located in Beausejour!
What you’ll do:
- Maintain and initiate direct sales and service to farm and commercial accounts as it pertains to petroleum, lubricants, and related hardware and service; and prospect and support independent retailer opportunities.
- Responsible for proactively directing and dispatching the daily work schedules of Driver’s to effectively and efficiently meet our members delivery needs.
- Promote and adhere to all relevant Regulatory and Safety Requirements, both legislated and internal standards ensuring spill and emergency practices are followed.
- Responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting, inspections, repairs, and overhauls of the delivery fleet, cardlocks and bulk plant and ensuring all documentation and reporting is accurate and complete.
- Responsible for all aspects of the operations and financial results including sales, margins, expenses, and inventory. Assist in preparation of the annual budget to ensure adherence and utilization of funds.
- Administrative duties include ordering and receiving fuel, inventory reconciliation of the bulk plant and cardlocks, claims, throughputs, invoices, and all other paperwork is done in a timely, and accurate manner.
- Provide leadership in recruitment, goal setting, performance management, training, and development of team members.
- Promote and ensure adherence to brand standards, marketing efforts, image standards, safety, and asset management.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of retail management experience. Petroleum knowledge or background being an asset.
- Experience leading a team with a focus on customer service.
- Knowledge of various products sold within the petroleum department.
- Must possess a Class 1 or 3 driver’s license with air endorsement and provide a clean commercial drivers abstract.
- Business literacy to create plans, budgets, manage pricing, and create work schedules.
- Positive, and ambitious attitude. Ability to learn and has a strong situational adaptability.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are required.
