Pharmacy Assistant

Beausejour Co-op is hiring a Full-time Pharmacy Assistant at our Beausejour Pharmacy location!

What you’ll do:

• Greet customers and confirm the accuracy of all patient and prescription information before filling. Assist with cashiering responsibilities as required in the Pharmacy.
• Comply with all government standards, regulations, policies, and procedures applicable to the Pharmacy.
• Assist in ensuring timely and accurate completion of third-party processing, billing, re-submissions, and reporting.
• Refer general OTC inquiries to the Pharmacist where required and necessary.
• Ensure Patient privacy and confidentiality are protected in accordance with Beausejour Co-op policies and legal regulations.
• Maintain a display of products, ensuring facing, filling, and organization of products meet company standards.
• Other duties as required.

The Full-time Pharmacy Assistant must be available 40 hours per week. Days, evenings, and weekends. Must also be able and willing to work at our Oakbank Pharmacy location as required.

Who you are:

• You are looking for a career in customer service.
• You have experience handling pharmacare claims and adjudication issues.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical math.
• Completion of an accredited Pharmacy Assistant training program is an asset.
• Excellent organizational skills.
