Yard Operator

Beausejour Co-op is hiring a Seasonal Yard Operator at our Beausejour Agro Centre location!

What you’ll do:

• Responsible for the operation and maintenance of the fertilizer blending facility, seed treating facility, shipping/receiving chemical and seed, and overall operations within the warehouse and on the yard.
• Aid in the coordination of customer delivery services.
• Provide exceptional customer service to members and growers.
• Perform maintenance duties as needed, and Maintenance records and checklists must be completed and maintained.
• Operation of Agro yard equipment, such as a tender truck, trailer, and skid steer.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Available positions:

• Term Agro Yard Operator – 40 hours per week plus overtime. Must be available evenings and weekends during peak times. The term will be for 3 months with the possibility of extension.

Who you are:

• You come to work with an enthusiastic and positive approach.
• You are able to perform physical tasks; must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• You possess a valid class 5 driver's license and are willing to obtain certifications to operate forklift and other equipment as needed.

Assets:

• Valid class 3 driver's license with airbrakes
• Experience operating forklift, skid steer and other equipment
